PVJ Weld provides expert welding equipment maintenance and verification services for the shipbuilding industry. Our expert service teams serve shipbuilders on-site at the shipyards in Turku and Helsinki and help keep production running without interruption.
We are an authorised service shop for both Kemppi and Taylor Studwelding Systems Ltd, so you know you will always receive first class service for your welding equipment.
Annual maintenance, warranty maintenance and repairs
We carry out on-site maintenance at shipyards, which means that equipment that comes in for maintenance is often ready for collection the next day. For larger quantities of equipment, the schedule is agreed with customer service in advance to ensure that the equipment is back in production without interruption.
We also have a wide range of spare parts on our own shelves and direct access to the factories of the equipment manufacturers we represent, which ensures fast delivery times, even for custom products during maintenance.
We also service and repair other manufacturers’ welding equipment where possible.
Verification
We perform annual verifications of welding equipment in accordance with the current EN IEC 60974-14: 2018 standard, either conveniently in connection with annual maintenance or as a separate service.
We use Kemppi’s ArcValidator system for verification, which enables a fast and accurate verification process for all welding equipment brands and models, as well as up-to-date reporting.
